Long Duk Dong Formed in 2010, and Long Duk Dong rapidly has gained the attention of fans throughout the DC, Baltimore and surrounding areas for their ability to play 80’s music “with an edge”. This isn’t Pop 80s, you will enjoy songs from bands such as the Alarm, the Plimsouls, the Knack, Midnight Oil, REM and many more. After playing to packed crowds at the State Theater in Virginia and the Black Cat in DC, Dong fever is driving fans crazy. We have enjoyed sharing the stage to sell-out crowds opening for the Smithereens. Also, with famous musicians like Mark Bryan of Hootie and the Blowfish and recording artist Danielle Howle.

Long Duk Dong is getting national attention with word spreading throughout the Southeast and with opportunities on the college circuit for Spring 2012. So, come by and check us out. You will not be disappointed. Hope you enjoy our site and thank you.

Scott Tucker (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica)
Prior to Long Duk Dong, Scott played several gigs on the east coast backing up Mark Bryan (Hootie and the Blowfish). Mark asked Scott to sing lead on a couple tunes including Rush’s “Red Barchetta” and “Next to You” by the Police and he got the itch to dust off the guitar and form Long Duk Dong. Scott has shared the stage with Pat Dinizio of the Smithereens one of his all-time favorite groups and was lead vocalist with Class Action, Clark Kent & the Caped Crusaders, and Chumbucket.

Ed Danoff (Lead Guitar, Vocals)
Ed plays guitar and provides backup vocals. A musician from a young age, Ed has played with several bands in the DC market including Class Action, Clark Kent and the Caped Crusaders and Shadowfire. He is also an avid songwriter with his local band, The Edz. Ed hopes one day to play in a Dr. Hook tribute band

Brendan Ciotta (Bass, Vocals)
Brendan or “Sweet B” as he is most commonly known has been playing, touring, and recording for the past 12 years up and down the east coast. Bands include: Unprovoked Moose Attack, The Slow Learners, Basehead 2.0, Euxine, and Very Angry Black Men. He brings the low end bass, harmonies and love of all things eighties to the Dong. He also knows the bass line to every Juice Newton song. Challenge him on this!

Joe Wilk (Lead Guitar, Vocals)
A transplant from Antarctica, Joe Wilk finds Annapolis a welcome change. He has worked in several original groups, and many cover groups over the years. He's been working on his own solo material for several years. He enjoys family, music, cooking, and Mexican Radio. His dream gig would be to play in a "Dexy's Midnight Runners" tribute group. He is wigged out when speaking of himself in the third person, but he does it anyway.

Andy Och (Drummer)
From his first live performance of "KNOCK THREE TIMES" by Tony Orlando and Dawn at a 4th grade music performance, Andy has been a living breathing metronome. Coincidentally, that's what Andy dresses up as for Halloween every year (which is kinda lame). However, his skills are far from lame as he has graced the drum throne of Clark Kent and the Caped Crusaders, Love and Hate, Forgotten Sons, Who is God?, Unzipt, Left of Avalon, Throwdown Syndicate...and now LONG DUK DONG! He grew up in the 80's...he lived the 80's...he loves the 80's! And now through STICKS OF THUNDER and LONG DUK DONG he brings the 80's back to life!

LONG LIVE DONG!!!!!

Jack Tucker (Equipment Manager & Logistics)

Jack Tucker is the unsung hero of the group: how else are we going to play without gear located, repaired, rented, and otherwise cared for? Props (like the Stonehenge prop) are often hard to come by, but Jack makes it happen. Jack is an indispensable part of Log Duk Dong, and serves as Scott's "wingman" (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more!). A second generation Donger, he's learning the business from the ground up.

Ford Cruz (Sound)

Ford is the man at the board. Watch him spin the knobs! Thrill to the reverb and echo --o --o --o! Ford is a graduate of Sheffield recording schools, and currently gigs in broadcasting daytime. I heard it on "The X".
